I'm grateful to have been able to enjoy this yummy cupcake at Russell and Ashley's wedding on Saturday. Here I zoomed in on the icing flowers, they were yummy as well as lovely.
After a great weekend full of fun and friends and family, happiness is Sweet Frog Frozen yogurt with my darling. I'm grateful for the times we have to enjoy treats like this.
I am grateful to share book recommendations with my daughter, Rebecca. She recommended Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn to me. I haven't gotten far, but it is the last think I read.
I am grateful that we share taste in books and can read books together and talk about them.

I am grateful to have childhood memories such as the one depicted here. Our family went on a trip to drive along Skyline Drive in the late 1960's or early 70's. This is me and my older brothers, Mike & Fitz.

I can't imagine what our lives would be like without electronics and the help of surge protectors like these to keep them from these damaging storms. I'm grateful for the genius who invented these.
This is the junk drawer in my kitchen. I try to make neatness out of it with dividers, but not such luck. I'm grateful that I can still find things in there when I need them.
I have a phobia of forgetting something that I needed at the beach, therefore have a bag fetish and pack way too much. I'm grateful that I have a husband that totally understands this and supports my need to over pack and have cute bags.
For lunch I had the "not so delicate" fish tacos sat the Blue Moon Grill in the Outer Banks. I am grateful for friends that have made recommendations for restaurants to try while on vacation.
I am grateful to be able to eat seafood again. After 2 years of thinking I was allergic and avoiding seafood that I love, I have now been told by my allergist that I am not allergic. I was getting a false reaction when eating seafood.. could have been the spices, too. Either way, I have now had seafood twice and so far so good. The boys are ready to "stab" me with an epi pen should the need arise.
I wish every day could include a trip to Booty Treats. My new favorite flavor is Peanut Butter with chocolate covered pretzels and a swirl of chocolate. I'm grateful to have found this place in the OBX.
One of my heroes is my darling husband, Scott. Yesterday, because he wanted to give me some thrills, he rode every roller coaster that I wanted to, even though he hates them. Once I pointed out that no dead bodies were being carted off he felt only slightly better. He made a big sacrifice to ride with me and for that I am grateful.
Today is Flag Day, so in my collage, I had to add a picture of a flag in the gorgeous sky. I'm grateful for the beautiful day today was and the smaller size of the crowds at Busch Gardens today so Scott and I didn't have to spend all of our time in lines.
What an adventure my father must have been having on this day, back in 1960something. My son resembles him quite a bit, which really warms my heart. I am grateful for the adventures and stories that my father passed down to me and my brothers. He lead a full and fun life. I miss him.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a guest speaker and share some of my knowledge with a Business class at GCC tonight. The instructor, Randy Martin, gave me this rose as a thank you.
This is a picture of a much younger me with my big brothers Mike and Fitz. At that point in my life I really wanted to be just like them, but was held back by them not wanting me to tag along and the fact that I was a girl. I'm grateful for the lessons they taught me in patience, toughness, negotiations and love.
Mother Nature provided the perfect day for the State Track meet and graduation. I'm grateful for the school spirit and the caring of the VHSL to provide a graduation for the athletes that chose to be at states rather than be at their home graduation ceremony.
Prepping for Jonathan's graduation. Dinner tonight was an event with the grandparents, Aunt Myrtis and Jacob. I'm grateful my son has had wonderful people in his life.
This overly large wreath will grade our front door for Graduation weekend. I'm grateful to have these memories with our family and to have the craftiness to create the wreath.
It made me smile to see how happy my Princess is. I'm grateful for the life she is building with her love, Taylor in the city she has come to love, Boston.
