What
a treat! Scott and I spent the day at
Christmastown at
Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. The entire amusement park was filled with billions (yes with a B) of lights for the upcoming holiday season. There were more activities for kids, but we did get to ride the only roller coaster that we hadn't ridden over the summer -
Verbolten. It was very intense and I loved it. Scott, not so much. It was dark when we got on the ride, making the view of the park from the coaster very pretty. We enjoyed several mugs of hot chocolate to warm us up throughout the night.
The highlight may have been the lighting and singing of the large tree by the Fest Haus in Germany. The tree's lights blinked in tune with many Christmas songs. Very pretty.
We drove the back roads from our house to Williamsburg. The weather was clear and cool, making the drive enjoyable.
I'm grateful for the time to spend with my sweetie and that he enjoys time with me, too.
